On November 6th Mariposa County residents will be voting for a new Supervisor for District V. Based on his background as a generational resident of Yosemite and Wawona as well as his experience, integrity and community involvement Ed Mee is an outstanding candidate for the supervisorial position.
I have worked with Ed for over 10 years as a member of the Wawona Town Planning Area Advisory Committee where Ed serves as Chairman. Ed has a unique ability to be fair and even handed in complex situations and works to fully understand issues before taking a position on them. He has played a key role in keeping the Wawona School viable. It is no wonder that the Board of the Wawona Area Property Owners Association fully endorses him for District V Supervisor.
Ed's interests and civic involvement are not limited to Wawona. As a member of the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) he is actively engaged in county wide issues. As a longtime resident of Yosemite he has an excellent understanding of the importance of working with the National Park Service to achieve positive cooperation between it and the Gateway Communities.
I am convinced that Ed would do a great job as our District V Supervisor.

On November 6th, I ask you to vote Ed Mee for County Supervisor District 5. I asked Ed to run for County Supervisor due to his vast experience in public safety and land use issues. Ed is retired law enforcement, thus will make sure public safety is a top priority. Ed is currently Chairman of the Wawona Town Planning Advisory Committee and has a vast knowledge of land use and planning issues. During my term on the Board of Supervisors, Ed Mee has been a fellow Board Member on the county's Local Agency Formation Commission Committee (LAFCO).
As Sheriff, I recommended a successor who I felt would do an outstanding job and has done just that. With my current position as a County Supervisor, I recommend Ed Mee as my successor. I believe Ed will do an outstanding job and he will be an accessible representative for District 5.
Please vote for Ed Mee, County Supervisor - District 5, the most qualified candidate for this most important position.

To the residents of Fish Camp and Wawona
I am a “new” resident of Wawona, but have lived in the Fish Camp area since 1956. I own and operate the Yosemite Mtn Sugar Pine Railroad and serve on the Yosemite Wawona Educational Foundation board of directors.
Representation on the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors is critical for our small communities. We must elect a person that is knowledgeable of our issues and history in order to provide the kind of voice on the board that we are in need of.
Mr. Ed Mee is that person. Ed lives in our community and shares our concerns and will speak up to advocate for the good of Wawona and Fish Camp. Ed has the background, experience, honesty and integrity to provide the leadership we need.
One can achieve little without consensus and compromise. Ed will work with the existing board for the betterment of our community and the county as a whole. He knows and supports tourism, the financial lifeblood of Mariposa County. He knows Yosemite issues and will support the needs of our community. Most importantly, he knows the people of our area and will serve us well.
Please join me and vote for Ed Mee to represent us in Mariposa County.
Sincerely,
Max Stauffer

I'm voting for Ed Mee for Mariposa Supervisor in District 5. I've known Ed for a long time. I worked with him on our Wawona homeowners board and know him to be honest, fair and a good decision maker. He served on the Town Plan Advisory Committee and as the President of the Yosemite/Wawona Educational Foundation he has helped raise money to keep the school running.
He knows the needs of our Wawona - Fish Camp community as well as the entire County. Ed Mee will be a very good Supervisor.
